Checkpoint 1 - Week 10, Day 1 (Corrie):
Today, I met with my teacher to showcase my progress in HTML and CSS.
I walked her through my code, explaining my approach and the techniques I applied.
I was pleased with how manageable I found the process and genuinely enjoyed working with these languages.
Looking forward, I plan to create several new websites, focusing on refining my skills and becoming more confident in both HTML and CSS.

Checkpoint 2 - Mtx:
I recently showed my portfolio to my teacher, and I was pleased to hear that he liked it a lot.
He mentioned that I included everything that needed to be in it, which was great to hear.
However, he suggested changing the profile picture because it doesn’t match the website background very well.
I’ve taken his advice and will replace it with a picture that better fits the overall design.
Once this adjustment is made, I plan to upload all the outcomes I’ve completed throughout the semester to ensure the portfolio is polished and complete.

Checkpoint 3 - Week 11, Day 3 (PEP Website, Corrie):
I met with my teacher to show her my portfolio website.
She really liked it and appreciated how well I organized everything.
However, she suggested that I add the four main learning outcomes, along with my technical and professional skills.
I mentioned that I would make some basic changes to improve the content.
Overall, she felt that I did a good job in explaining and presenting my work.
-
Checkpoint 4 - Dirk (Portfolio Process, Week 11):
I presented my portfolio website to my teacher, who provided constructive feedback.
He asked me to create a mood board and gather inspiration in Figma, emphasizing the importance of showcasing my design process before finalizing the project.
In response to his feedback, I carefully designed a mood board and compiled visual inspirations that aligned with the theme and goals of my project.
Once completed, I uploaded the mood board and design elements to my portfolio, ensuring to explain every step of my process in detail.

Checkpoint 5 - Week 12, Day 1 (PEP Website, Corrie):
I showed my Figma design to my teacher today, and she liked how I organized my website.
She gave me feedback that I should add the four main learning outcomes, along with my professional and technical skills, to my portfolio.
I’m doing my best to keep showing her my new work.
-
Checkpoint 6 - Mtx portfolio
I showed my portfolio to the teacher step by step, explaining all the changes and additions I made, focusing on my professional and technical skills.
The feedback I got was that I should leave some space between the three brackets and replace the example content with the actual one.
When reviewed my code, I explained that most of it follows proper syntax and doesn’t include unnecessary or random elements.
The teacher suggested that I change the in the first section and add the tag along with the correct structure below it.
This week, I’ll work on fixing all the mistakes and completing the unfinished parts to show improvement in the next few weeks.

Checkpoint 7 - week13 alignmentwk12 Corrie
I had a mentor meeting with the teacher, and she first wanted to understand my current level and what I am aiming to achieve.
Then, we discussed my portfolio website. I showed her the updated version, which has improved syntax and updated section IDs with the header.
Next, I presented my prototyping website from the first semester and explained what I aim to achieve for the user.
Overall, the teacher gave me feedback to update my portfolio section by including professional skills, technical skills, and learning outcomes.
I will also add the work and experiences I have gained to improve it further.

Checkpoint 8 - Dirk - Portfolio (WK13)
I went to the teacher and showed him my portfolio. First, he told me to change the website font to a bigger font size of 16.
Then, he went through my learning outcomes. I still need to simplify instead of confusing what I wrote.
Last of all, about the mood board, he wants me to do more inspiration from what I personally like.
I will change all the mistakes and misunderstandings that I made, and I will upload every new project or assignment in my portfolio.
-
Checkpoint 9 - Dirk - Portfolio (WK13)
I talked to my teacher about my portfolio. At first, I was confused about how to explain the toolbar,
but then I understood that I need to keep the navigation on every page of the website instead of starting from the beginning.
I also decided to use Figma to design my portfolio instead of Canva. I will make a lot of changes based on the feedback I got.
-
Checkpoint 10 - week14 day1 personal website Corrie
I discussed my portfolio with my teacher and showed her the changes I made. I also presented my feedback, project, and learning outcomes.
However, I realized I didn’t include the results in my portfolio. To improve, I need to create a complete learning cycle that includes a clear goal, action, result, and feedback.
This approach will better reflect the changes in my learning outcomes.
Additionally, I shared the prototype of the project, and my teacher mentioned that some of the images were unclear in their meaning.
She advised me to have more discussions with my group to address this.
This week, I will focus on designing the website and preparing for the presentation scheduled for Thursday.

Checkpoint 11 - mtx
I visited my teacher to present my portfolio. First, I showcased the design and colour scheme for each section, along with the animations. We also discussed my learning outcomes, and he suggested adding a link within each square section. This would make it easier for him to access detailed information and see the supporting evidence.
Next, I inspected the code because there was an issue where professional skills and technical skills were grouped in the same section. My teacher recommended using to https://validator.w3.org/nu/#file.
Identify and fix the errors. I uploaded my file there, and it highlighted several issues that helped me reorganize and improve my code.
Finally, I addressed the errors, made the necessary changes, and added links for the learning outcomes. Overall, this process has helped me refine my portfolio and ensure it’s more organized.
